, we don't tend to catch anything when we go beach fishing so expectations weren't to high, but the surroundings were good, with lovely backdrop.
It took about 1 1/2 hours to get a bite , and that was on Judith,s rod, it looked like a decent fish but halfway in it came off, gutted for her, I rebaited her rod and it was soon out in the muddy water, hopefully for another bite, but ten minutes later my rod went off, and I soon had a nice bass on the beach, of about 3 1/2 pounds, I did try and release it but I couldn't get it to go,
so that was tea sorted for Tuesday night then, and very nice it was too, even with the hind end of binks the lurcher in the background.
It was an enjoyable evening and we will be doing it again soon, and with a few early codling showing up it may be sooner rather than later.
